The last of the vintage style MG sports cars, this MG TF represents a bygone ere of motoring with lovely vintage charm and patina.
 
The TF was the launched-on October 15, 1953 as a much-facelifted version of the TD Mark II using most of the same underpinnings and uprated 1250cc EPAG engine. The TF XPAG engine had a increased compression ratio of  8.1:1 with extra-large valves, stronger valve springs and larger H4 carburettors making around 57.5hp @ 5,500rpm mated to a 4 speed manual gearbox. During it’s relatively short production run from 1953-1955 only around 13 thousand TF’s were produced.
 
This MG TF has enjoyed a long custodianship with its current owner and is in lovely condition for it’s age with glossy paint work and nice patina all round. It boasts a matching numbers 1250cc XPAG engine that has been found to be bored out 100 thousands during it’s last overhaul. The TF comes with wet weather equipment, half and full tonneau cover.
