A handsome classic sports car from a historic British marque that’s begging to be driven.
 
Successor to the TR3A, the TR4 brought more modern conveniences and beautiful Michelotti styling to the Triumph sports car range. Adding to this was an optional hard/Targa top, much better cabin ventilation and more sizable boot space. The TR4 continued with the previous TR3A’s chassis and drivetrain with the 2138cc inline 4 producing around 105hp with an all synchromesh gearbox fitted behind and rack & pinion steering upfront. The TR4 is a two seater sports car, truly for the driving enthusiast.
 
This Tr4 is in good condition for its age painted in old English white with green leather interior that sets it apart from the crowd. It features the standard 4 speed manual transmission with a slightly higher ratio for highway cruising (sits at about 3000rpm at 60mph). Under the bonnet lies the lively 2138cc inline 4 with twin SU carburettors with plenty of power and a raughty exhaust note through its stainless steel exhaust. The Triumph rides on adjustable shock absorbers and painted 15 inch wire wheels.
 
New carpets have just been installed as well as a new Moto-lita steering wheel and new fabric top. A half tonneau, box of spare parts and toolkit/jack accompany the vehicle as well.
