Looking for a reliable cruiser for the weekend? This valiant could be it!
Released in 1965, the AP6 model replaced the AP5 carrying over much of the old models styling. A new split grill, new bonnet and new front mudguards were the only external revisions on the sedan while the interior gained redesigned dash and trim finishings while the gear selector changed from push button to standard column gear selector.
Under the bonnet the standard 3.7 litre slant 6 remained largely the same bar a redesigned camshaft, incorporation of self-adjusting brakes with optional power assistance.
This 3 owner survivor car presents in near all original condition with all original white paint and original brown interior (bar the recovered front seat).
The valiant has undergone recent work to get it up to road worthy specification including:
- Head rebuild
- Rebuilt carburettor
- Brake rebuild + new brake lines including an upgrade to a PBR brake booster
- New tie rod ends
- New upper and lower front ball joints
- New engine mounts
- Full engine and transmission service
A great reliable cruiser for the weekend – this AP6 is not to be missed!
