Finished off in the original ‘Dodge Bright Red’ with aftermarket American racing style rims, this Charger looks and means the business with a cabinet full of trophies (including best Chrysler vehicle QLD 3 years running) to attest to its restoration quality.
 
Starting off with a largely rust-free body with a seized 361ci V8, the charger was stripped back to its bare shell and rotisserie restored to practically brand new including all new suspension, steering, brakes, 500+hp Stroked 502ci roller motor, completely new reupholstered interior, all new wiring etc.
During the restoration the original engine was found to be too far gone thus a new block was found unknowingly at the time of purchase to be a 400ci Indy block with build No: 1 stamped on it. Subsequently the motor has been stroked to 502ci (8.2 litres) with alloy heads, Eagle Forged crank, custom camshaft, roller rockers, 4 barrel Yanky Carburettor, ICE electronic distributor and custom mandrel bent extractors flowing into a 3 inch twin exit exhaust system. Colling off is handled by a 3 row high performance aluminium radiator with twin thermo fans. The 727 Automatic transmission was completely rebuilt and upgraded to handle the extra power from the engine, sending power to the rear via the True Trac diff. All mechanical work has been carried out to a very high standard with a thick wad of receipts to prove a $100,000+ build.
