This is an Oldsmobile that stands out fantastically from the crowd in it’s brilliant original colour, Topaz Metallic (metallic gold) and with numbers matching powerful Oldsmobile 455 super rocket V8 under the hood and original grey interior.
 
The Oldsmobile 98 was the largest, top of the range vehicle that Oldsmobile produced at the time with the coveted 455 V8 with over 365hp on tap with loads of tuning potential that has been exploited by the current owner, or should we say, his mechanic!
 
A long list of mechanical work has been done to this vehicle from suspension bushes, engine tuning including upgraded cams and a new starter motor. This Oldsmobile has far more power than factory most likely reaching 400+hp with ease.
 
The interior is completely original to the car, in fair condition in respect to age and millage travelled. With replacement material patterns extremely hard to source, Oldsmobile interiors in original patterns are extremely scarce thus worth keeping and restoring the old material.
At great expense, the roof has been professionally recovered in black vinyl insuring many years of service.
 
Accompanying the vehicle is a receipts folder 1 inch thick including the original owner’s manual, Oldsmobile accessories guide “get a little personal with your Oldsmobile” and even the original ‘Protect-O-Plate’ stampled warranty card with the original owners name and details when bought brand new in San Diego, California. All in excellent condition.
