Through the phases of its life with the Sheppard family from brand new car bought new in Brisbane, to disuse and then finally through a full restoration to what you see here today – this beetle is like no other and has many stories to tell. The full restoration cost of this vehicle totalling over $80,000 has to be seen to be belived.
 
From the subtle exterior changes such as relocating the indicators to the lower bumper to the front narrowed H beam with larger tires at the rear for that sleek hunched stance - this beetle exudes style without showing off. Under the bonnet however is its party piece with a 1916cc Fuel Injected Flat 4 producing an estimated 150hp making this beetle great fun to drive through the countryside.
 
The interior is equally impressive with its hessian textured seat inlays accompanied with its race car inspired gauges, quick-shifter and Pioneer entertainment system. It has done less than 800km since restoration.
