This 71 Volkswagen Super Bug represents in very good condition with a very desirable Champagne Rose Gold paint and very hard to source chrome beetle wheels that took the current owner years to find.
 
Being the Superbug model of the beetle range, front suspension is MacPherson strut & coil spring setup enabling a much better ride comfort, superior handling and turning circle over the standard beetle. Another noticeable feature is the slightly wider stance and increased legroom and boot space. Standard was the more powerful 1600cc flat 4 engine connected to a 4 speed manual transmission.
 
This particular beetle has enjoyed long known ownership history having undergone a full restoration by the previous owner about 12 years ago. During this restoration the body work was repainted in an attractive Champagne Rose Gold which makes for something different from other beetles on the road. The interior was also refurbished with new carpets, seats, hood and boot linings.
The engine was also refurbished and starts first turn of the key with ample power from the 1600cc engine.
