A stunning luxury coupe with muscle, these boattail Rivieras are one of the hidden gems in the American classic car line up, often overshadowed by other marques until given the light of day.

In 1971 the Riviera was radically redesigned with a flowing and dramatic boattail design which would only last until the 1973 model year due to perceived poor sales of the radical boat tail design. It shared the same 455ci V8 from the previous generation mated to a 3 speed automatic giving brisk performance given the size of the vehicle.

This Riviera is a ex Californian car that is believed to be original milage since new, it has been very well kept by its previous custodians with all original interior in very good condition (small tear on passenger side upright only). The exterior has been repainted at some time and presents in very good condition for its age. No rust evident. Under the bonnet is a matching numbers 455 V8 with the 3 speed automatic transmission which has just undergone a full service including new water pump/hoses, alternator, brake master cylinder and front wheel bearings. The Buick drives beautifully with fingertip light steering. The original radio has been upgraded with a Retro Sound radio giving old world appearances with today’s modern technology – the old unit kept for posterity for future owners.

The Buick comes with RWC. Customised plates NOT included.
