The RX8 marked a departure from the uncompromising sport car of the previous RX series to a more upmarket and luxurious feel. Initially the FE Series 1 was praised for its stylish looks and excellent driving dynamics. It was even crowned the Wheels 2003 COTY (Car of The Year). At the heart of the RX8 was the Renesis 2 rotor engine that was equally praised as a major advancement in rotary technology (predominantly for the boring stuff like fuel economy and emissions). The next generation FE Series 2 was introduced in 2008 with revised front and rear bumpers, new front/rear lights, revised dash board, suspension revisions, lower diff ratio and most importantly, an extra oil injector for much improved engine longevity (much more reliable than the series 1). This RX8 is in great condition with a low 74,000km on the clock having had just 3 owners from new.
